RAC 2025 Conference - Programme and speakers

With just under 1 week to go until the Retailers Against Crime Glasgow Conference, excitement is building for what promises to be one of the most impactful events of the year for the retail, security and crime-reduction community.

This year’s conference brings together retailers, policing partners, security specialists and technology innovators for a full day of insight, collaboration and forward-thinking conversations. A huge thank you goes to our Headline Conference Sponsor, ASEL, and to all supporting exhibitors whose commitment helps make this event possible. Their partnership strengthens the sector and ensures delegates experience a high-value, deeply informative programme.

Attendees can look forward to a wide range of expert speakers covering the most pressing challenges facing the sector today. The agenda includes key contributions from Police Scotland, including Assistant Chief Constable Tim Mairs and the leadership team of the new Retail Crime Taskforce, who will share updates on prevention, enforcement and national coordination efforts.

Delegates will also hear from RAC CEO Stephanie Karté on the organisation’s continued impact, followed by insights on frontline challenges from Tesco, an overview of partnership working through technology from SentrySIS, and strategic security perspectives from ASEL.

The programme continues with thought-provoking sessions on offender rehabilitation, cyber resilience, anonymity in crime reporting, partnership working and more, culminating in the prestigious RAC Awards, sponsored by Lodge Security.

In addition to the speaker programme, this year’s conference features a strong exhibitor line-up showcasing leading solutions across intelligence, security technology, loss prevention, digital evidence, AI-driven analytics, and physical guarding. Exhibitors include ABLOY, Apex Radio Systems, BauWatch, Facewatch, Gatekeeper Systems, Pinnacle Response, Assist Security Group, SentrySIS and many others, each bringing innovation designed to help retailers reduce crime, protect colleagues and create safer environments.
